These might indeed be removed depending on the method of uninstallation. This has happened both times with the patch, which makes me think a file or something isnt being recognized On my laptop the patch downloads as the normal size. I haven't seen this in a long time, though, and even if you run into a game like this, you can just tell the uninstaller to keep the savegames.Īnd then there are even older games (like, DOS games from more than 25 years ago) that may store their savegames together with the game's installed files. this game is one that my best friend wanted to play she passed away a few days after the game trailer came out so i am going to play this for both of us and i hope. So when I try to download the patch on Steam, it wants me to download 30gb worth of something. There are a few old games that dedicated uninstallers which ask you if you want to keep or remove your savegames. Uninstalling games, even if the folder with the game's installed files gets completely removed, will not affect the data in AppData or Documents. Triple AAA developer and still didn't able to fix this its been weeks I did read even people with 32GB RAMs game consumes 24GB of it, something is seriously wrong with this game. can anyone help me please?Modern games store the game's installed folder in one area (if they are Steam games, usually inside the Steam folder), and things like savegames or configuration files in a completely different area (usually somewhere inside the AppData or Documents folders). This game STILL consumes RAM like crazy reaching to max levels like 98, I do not get crash thankfully but it probably will if my character sprints in game as it loads crap at background. But I'm afraid of having to start the game over if my progress is lost.
